I moved to Caldercruix with my partner back in 2014 to spend more time outdoors while having an easy commute into Glasgow and Edinburgh. I work in digital learning and behaviour transformation which can be fairly intense so it’s great to switch off and walk our dog by one of the lochs or run along the cycle-path. I joined the Community Council to find ways to contribute to the local area.
I have lived in the village for over forty years and have been a member of the Community Council since 2016.
During previous employment in the Police Service I have liaised with numerous Community Councils throughout Strathclyde region and witnessed first hand the benefits a strong Community Council can provide for resident and the local area.
I became a member of the Community Council to provide assistance with a view to tackling issues that with help improve matters relevant to the residents of Caldercruix.
I joined the community council with a view to helping the local area.
I moved to Caldercruix during 2005 with my wife and familly.
I can be found most days walking along the side of the reservoir (Rizer to the locals) with two dogs.
Caldercruix is a fantastic place to live, great transport links, friendly people just too many litter louts.
