Councillor for Caldercruix. I was born and raised in the village, Elswick Drive. Caldercruix has changed a lot these past years but is still a grand place to stay, as can be seen by the many new housing developments in the area and the list of people on my books looking for a council house.
I know the area like the back of my hand having served for thirty years as a police officer in this area before retiring in 2011. Since being elected as your local councillor in 2012 I have been involved in many issues and have assisted with numerous enquiries from residents, and will continue to do so to the best of my ability.
I am readily available, holding surgeries, first Thursday of every month, 1500 hrs Community Centre, second Thursday of every month Glengowan/St Marys Primary School.
Please do not hesitate to contact me, mobile 07939280044 or I am more than happy to arrange a home visit.
It has been a privilege to be one of your Local Councilors since being elected in May
2017 for Caldercruix and the surrounding area of Airdrie North.
I was born and brought up in Coatbridge and I now live in Airdrie, and have done since leaving the Army in 2006 after serving for 24 years. I have many friends in the village, both new and some I have known for many years.
The train station has been a fantastic addition to the village that will help and promote growth in the coming years and I look forward to supporting the community council as it works for the benefit of the people of Caldercruix.
